Member Spotlight - Donna Norton

Donna Norton is a Texas-based artist and Certified Zentangle Teacher whose work celebrates the beauty of pattern, rhythm, and mindful creativity. A retired elementary music and GT teacher, Donna brings a sense of movement and structure to her intricate pen-and-ink designs featuring mandalas, Celtic knots, and flowing Zentangle-inspired patterns.

Working primarily in black and white with occasional touches of color, each piece is carefully hand drawn and mounted on panels or canvas, then sealed to preserve the fine detail. Her process is slow and meditative, reflection the calming nature of Zentangle.

Donna’s work recently received First Place in 2D Art at the Fall Art Show in Fate, Texas, hosted by the Artists Round Texas. Through her art, she hopes to share creativity, inspiration, and a sense of peaceful focus with others.
