Rockwall Art League Grant Application

Supporting member artists in exploring the arts

 

Up to $250 awarded each quarter.

 

Grants will be reviewed anonymously a committee consisting of at least 2 board members and 3 RAL members artist.

Eligibility:

Member of Rockwall Art League

Have not received a grant from the RAL in the last 18 months.

Must be an exhibiting artist

Must be at least 16 years or older.

Project must be complete within 1 year of grant

If the above applies to you, then simply apply on the form below.

 

Your submission will be reviewed in order they are received by the grant committee 3 days after submission deadline. If you have been chosen, you will receive an email within another 3 days. If you do not receive an email, the winner will be announced at the following members meeting.

Eligible Purchases

Items that may be purchased:

  • Artist supplies (brushes, paint, canvases, easels, etc.)
  • Software used to manipulate artwork
  • Multimedia materials (must specify how they will be used)
  • Workshops or other educational platforms
  • Exhibit entry fees

Items NOT eligible for purchase:

  • Computers, printers
  • Other software (not used to manipulate art)
  • Memberships

Provide a brief title or description of your project

What inspired this project? Tell us about your creative vision

What artistic medium will you be working with? (e.g., oil painting, sculpture, digital art, etc.)

Why are you asking for this grant? How will it help your artistic development?

How long will it take to complete your project? (must be within 1 year)

How will you demonstrate how the grant money was used? What will be your final product or deliverable?

Will this project have an impact on the community? If so, please explain how
