Don’t miss our Saturday, August 22^nd RAL Member Meeting featuring demo artist Claudia McCabe! Claudia will demonstrate “Creative Encaustic Art” which is an ancient, luminous art medium made by mixing molten beeswax, tree resin (usually damar resin), and colored pigments. Applied while hot, it hardens instantly. Each layer is "burned in" (fused) with a heat gun or torch to bond the paint into a durable, cohesive layer. Learn to create beautiful artwork with this amazing process!
