My goal in art is for people to take a moment and see all beauty in the world, to reflect, and hopefully feel present in the moment the painting is expressing — whether the piece of art takes you on an adventure to a location, causes you to see something you might pass by often without slowing down to notice, or just enjoying the colors, squiggles, lines, and marks of the subjects being presented. What’s beneath the surface and layers to create the whole, or what is brought to mind when reflecting, is what makes art fun!
