About The Event
I pursued a fine arts degree in drawing and painting through Stephen F Austin State University, though I had been drawing long before that. I was fortunate to have a strong support structure and encouragement from my family, especially my wonderful mother.
My professional art began with portraiture commissions that came to me from clients who happened across my work online. From there I had work from word of mouth. Now I am fortunate enough to be carried by the Dutch Art Gallery.
Currently, I am branching into wildlife art as that has always been my greatest passion using a variety of mediums: oils, acrylic, watercolor, pastels, colored pencils, graphite/charcoal, and digital. However. I could never turn my back on portraiture either. I also find doing subjects outside of my comfort zone is a great way to challenge and build my art skills. This includes working in a large variety of mediums.
I always love talking about art and answering questions about a variety of mediums or techniques. Please feel free to chat me up anytime!
