Expressive Mark-making with Oil and Cold Wax/Acrylics and Gels with Justin Burns
This is a expressive art workshop where we will experiment with some Williamsburg Oil Paint Cold Wax, Golden Heavy Body Acrylic, Golden OPEN Acrylic, Golden Fluid and some Golden Gels to create a Cold wax and Encaustic finish painting. With this workshop, the sky’s the limit.

About The Event
Abstraction Expression and mark making: With this workshop, the sky’s the limit. You really can’t mess this up. We get to experiment with some Williamsburg Oil Paint Cold Wax, Golden Heavy Body Acrylic, Golden OPEN Acrylic, Golden Fluid and some Golden Gels to top it all off. We can even create a Cold wax and Encaustic finish. This is an expressive art and mark making class with so many different end results that you will just dive in and go for it. Other tools we will use is charcoal, pencil, rubber shapers, palette knives, and etc.All you need to bring is yourself and a willingness to have fun and experiment. 1 Day Workshop.
Justin Burns is a GOLDEN Working Artist for GOLDEN Artist Colors, Williamsburg Oils and QoR Watercolor. Justin holds a Bachelors degree of Fine Arts in Studio Drawing and Painting from the University of North Texas. He is currently an art educator for Grapevine/ Colleyville ISD and exhibits his work throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area. His work has been featured in Studio Visit Magazine and Friend of the Artist.
