A Creativity Workshop

Engage your Creativity ...
“The word ‘yoga’ means ‘union', and it’s purpose is
to unite your body, mind and spirit. To my way of thinking, that’s very similar to how art and the act of
creating art affects me. And I have found in my 32 years of practicing yoga, 6 years of teaching yoga, and 55+ years as an artist, that the two work hand in hand, uniting color, line, shape and movement to open my creative heart.” ~~ Annie Phillips, BFA, MFA, RYT-200
Join Annie in a creative workshop that combines the gentle, mindful movement of yoga and the artistic exploration of Papier Colle’, better known as collage.
Each of three short sessions of yoga will include gentle stretching and peaceful guided meditation to relax your body, awaken your inquisitive nature, and entice your creative mind. Then you’ll dive into a plethora of delicious papers and paints. Colored, textured, printed and plain, torn or intricately cut, you decide. Bring your own vision to life on the picture plane as personal topics and themes emerge. No previous experience with either yoga or collage is necessary.
All supplies for yoga and collage will be provided. Bring yourself, curiosity and a sack lunch. Sign up today for this unique experience. https://www.rockwallartleague.org/events-news-1

PLEASE BE ASSURED: the yoga will be accessible to ANYONE. If getting on the floor is a problem, the practice is easily done while sitting comfortably in a chair.
