Karen Johnston is a native Texan. Raised in Arlington and Joshua Texas. Mostly a self taught artist Karen took Art in school and college. She feel in love with all types of mediums in her younger years having had her first piece exhibited in a Fort Worth museum in grade school. Working in primarily acrylic and oil paints she loves to do architectural renderings of old or new homes that mean something to the owners. Customers could send photos of their property and have them transformed onto canvas. Karen has lived in the Lake Ray Hubbard area for over 35 yrs but only recently joined the Rockwall Art League wanting to get more involved. Being around other Artists as been truly inspirational.
Karen has 2 grown children and 4 grandchildren. She also loves crafts of all kinds, sewing, quilting, decorating and loves to travel.
