GOLDEN Open & Fluid Acrylic Paint Workshop with Justin Burns
In this workshop we will apply traditional techniques using Golden OPEN acrylic and Fluid acrylic paints combined with a variety of mediums to get acrylic painting to look and even feel like an oil painting - you might even decide to make the switch.

About The Event
We will spend the morning on a group lesson working step by step building up layers with fluid acrylic then blending with slow drying Golden Open acrylic. We will finish the lesson with glazing techniques using mediums or gels. The afternoon will spent on individual composition where you will have the opportunity to practice what you have learned and ask questions.
-Bring 2 canvases or boards (5x7 or 8x10) to paint – which ever is your preferred surface: canvas, canvas board, or wood board.
-Any brushes and/or pallet knives that you like to work with.
-2 tubes of Golden OPEN paint or Golden Fluid paint in your preferred colors. I will have a selection of paints available for the workshop but you will be creating a scene of your own design.
-A reference photo for the afternoon session when you get to practice what you learn.
