Monthly Artists Programs Programs have included:"hands on" artist demonstrations in stained glass, oil painting, scraffito and mosaic art. Open Critiques and Figure Drawing Sessions with model are also planned for the coming year. To suggest programs for the coming year contact Doris Yanger at 972 722-5000.

Guest Artist Marona Hewitt at RAL on September 24th
Marona Posey Hewitt is an award winning artist who teaches painting to adults, especially seniors, in the Dallas area. She is a retired attorney and teacher who has fulfilled her life long dream of opening her own studio where she paints and teaches painting.

Wed., Oct. 29th - Sharon Serrago will critique member's work and Jack Palmer will take professional photographs of one piece of members artwork, that image will be e-mailed to the artist.

Tom Collins Memorial Scholarship Tom Collins was a founding member of the Rockwall Art League. A talented and prolific artist, he was good friend to many of the League's members. Tom passed away not long after the League was founded. We honor his memory with an annual scholarship given to a graduating high school senior who shows a talent and desire to pursue work in the field of fine art. This year the scholarship amount was increased from $1000 to $1500 The 2006 Tom Collins Scholarship recipient is Rockwall High School Senior, Eric Dyer. Eric will receive the scholarship each year for four years as long as he continues to qualify. Congratulations Eric!
