OTHER EXHIBIT OPPORTUNITES
>2ND SATURDAY SAN JACINTO STREET ART MARKET
On behalf of the Rockwall Main Street Program and the Old Town Shoppes of Rockwall. We are hosting the San Jacinto Street Art Market in Downtown Rockwall June, 12, 2010 and are seeking talented artisans.
The SJS Art Market will be open from 9am until 2pm the 2nd Saturday of each month from May through October. The Art Market is located on San Jacinto Street between (Washington and Rusk Streets) across from the Historic Courthouse, where the highly successful Farmers Market serves 500+ customers each Saturday.
The SJS Art Market will serve as a marketplace for local artists who have a passion to share their talents with the community. We are looking for one-of-a-kind, hand-made: jewelry, photography, candles, paintings, stationary, frames, pillows, holiday décor, clothing, handbags, hats, aromatiques, stitchery, stained glass, pottery, quilts, paintings, and other unique creations. We envision the Art Market becoming a regular stop for local and regional visitors and are currently coordinating with our downtown restaurants to feature outdoor dining and musical talent.
Since the SJS Art Market is a pilot program in its first year; we are not imposing a fee for participation. However, we are limiting participation to those artisans offering unique, one of a kind wares. We are extending an invitation to participate in the Art Market and have included an application for your review. We hope that you will share this information with your fellow artisans and help us build this unique venue!
